At Fighting Sheep Dog, there are a few things that our Clients KNOW about us.

They know we’ll go to the ends of the Earth for them.
They know we will support their 2A rights with our dying breath.
They KNOW we will call bullshit when we see it.

And today? We call it.

Our Clients, friends, and family all serve this mighty Nation in one way or another. Paying taxes, working in civil service, raising wholesome children.

As we draw closer to Memorial Day, I can’t help but look at the ever-increasing amount of CRAP I see in my inbox regarding “Memorial Day Sales”. Next it’ll be “Fourth of July Sales”. Then “Veteran’s Day Sales”.

Lemme get this straight – you’re discounting prices for what? To honor the memory of those who fought so bravely and gave their lives so that you could create a business in the first place? So that you are free to drive on public roads? To not have to hunt for your dinner if you choose not to?

A sale for soldiers, airmen, seamen, and Marines who died for our country? I just want to make sure I’m not the asshole here.

At Fighting Sheep Dog, we will NOT have a sale to commemorate any holiday involving our Armed Forces. We may have a sale shortly afterwards for no reason whatsoever, but never a sale to “honor” any veteran, living or dead. We choose to do that with our non-profit. With our donations and support. Not with a “sale”.

We’ve always voted with our wallets, refusing to support companies who would trample our God-given rights. Avoiding movies with actors who use their celebrity status to speak out against the very country they call home.

Will it change anything that we refuse to have a sale? After all, most folks will spend their money anyway and just go where the sales are, right?

Maybe. Maybe not.

But until SOMEONE stands up and says, “NO MORE!”…no one else will, either.

Regardless of how you choose to spend your Memorial Day weekend, we hope that you will take the time to remember those who sacrificed so that you have that opportunity.

Even more to the point, visit our veterans in the hospital NOW, while they can appreciate your support. Volunteer to work with the VA, work with your local VFW, or  volunteer to help your local DAV.
